Kurdish wedding · Stuttgart & across Germany
Kurdish repertoire, govend rounds and an evening that takes your family seriously — with equipment, live music and one point of contact. Playing for over 12 years, at more than 200 weddings and events.
Your celebration, your music
Kurdish weddings are lively, loud and full of dancing — and very different by region and family. That is why Veysel assumes nothing and asks instead. Kurdish repertoire is explicitly part of the offer for engagement, henna night and wedding; which songs, dances and running order matter to your family is settled in the planning call. For over 12 years Veysel has played in Stuttgart at celebrations where several musical worlds meet.
What sets it apart
Kurdish music is part of the repertoire — alongside Turkish, German and international tracks for mixed guest lists. Your requests and do-not-plays are noted in advance.
Govend, the shared circle dance, is at the heart of many Kurdish celebrations. We plan enough space and the right music and don't let the dance floor run empty.
Hosting is in German, Turkish and English. What matters to you in the announcements we talk through beforehand, so it is clear what can be done.
Typical running order
Customs differ by region and family. These building blocks come up often — which of them belong to your celebration is up to you.
Engagement and henna night are often celebrations of their own, with their own music and mood. Both are part of the offer, individually or combined with the wedding.
The bride's pick-up and the couple's entrance are accompanied by music in many families — with davul zurna on request.
The shared dance in a circle or a line connects generations. Music and space need enough reserve for it.
When guests with different languages and musical tastes celebrate together, the programme alternates between Kurdish, Turkish and international music.
Songs with special meaning for the families are collected in advance and placed at the right moments of the evening.
